This bottom plate is used to stabilize the bottom when the bag is carried in its biggest/deepest size. The plate makes the bag more durable and it will keep its architectural shape and age beautifully.
Note that the Bo Bardi bag contains a bottom plate. This product replaces a lost or broken plate.
