Atta Ring and Maja Furenberg Ring grew up in a home where creativity and self-expression were encouraged. As twins, they shared a unique bond and a mutual passion for art and design from an early age. Their complementary skills and shared vision naturally led them to collaborate on projects even before Studio In was even born.
After pursuing diverse educational paths in interior design, construction technology, textiles, and visual merchandising, the sisters decided to unite their expertise and establish a studio that reflected their shared values. Studio In was founded not just as a business, but as a creative outlet where their love for storytelling through design could thrive.

What do you do when you need inspiration?
We always look for Danish homes on Pinterest and Instagram. They always have that little something extra.
What is most important to you when decorating a room?
What is most important to you when decorating a room? The most important thing for us is that there is room for something unexpected. It could be a color, a shape, a proportion or a placement. Something that makes the room or image interesting or unique. Something to stop and wonder about. Something that leaves an impression. Then we know that we have used our potential…and that we have had fun along the way..and for us that is exactly the purpose..
What is most important to you when you create?
Everything starts with an idea. And ideas come to us best when we are relaxed, curious and dare to let go of the demands for a certain result. Of course, ideas and Creativity are the most beautiful things we have.
What do you always carry in your bags?
Maja: besides my phone, a water bottle. Because I have a habit of getting super thirsty as soon as I leave the house.
Atta: headphones. It's the best way to block out noise (I'm so sensitive to it) plus I'm a bit addicted to listening to podcasts!
